The Psychology of Creativity

Small Business owners have been challenged more in the last few years than anytime since the Great Depression of the 1930′s. What I have found to be odd is how the Entrepreneurial spirit is more alive today as a result of the bad economy. Lots of fortunes were made during the 1930′s just as fortunes are being made in today’s difficult economy.

When times get tough businesses need to innovate, improve, and adapt to the new economy. I have seen some great leaders develop new products and businesses since the Great Recession began in 2007. One of those leader’s is Brian Tracy, and he has had a big impact on my mindset the last few years. Brian’s last few books address what entrepreneurs should be doing to innovate and lead their way out of bad times. The three books I recommend are as follows:

1) Reinvention…How to Make the Rest of Your Life the Best of Your Life

2) How the Best Leaders Lead

3) Full Engagement!

All three books were authored by Brian Tracy since 2009, and published by Amacom. Visit Brian’s Amazon Page by clicking here after watching the video.

The video below is one of Brian’s best videos on the subject of creativity and improvement.

Every business owner in America should read Brian Tracy’s new book… “Full Engagement!

Free Business Assessment Gave Me Clarity and Focus

Last week I took a free business assessment that instantly gave me clarity and focus on why I was not getting the results I wanted in my business. Taking the assessment offered by Brian Tracy was the best decision I have made in this new year so far.

The assessment takes about 10 minutes to complete, and covers every area of your business. You will get immediate feedback and results as the test uses a 1 – 10 rating scale for you to rate yourself on the fundamentals of business. After taking the assessment, you will have a clear understanding of your weaknesses and be given a recommended course of action that you can take to implement your own solutions towards making your business more profitable.

Profit growth strategies, psychology of time management, and programming yourself for success are just a few of the areas that we all can improve upon. No one has created more content on these subjects than Brian Tracy. He delivers practical, proven methods and techniques that you can use immediately to begin increasing the sales and profitability of your business.

Personally, I own and operate several businesses myself. If you are like me, you are aware that there is more competition for the customer dollar, and more uncertainty today than ever before.

Take the free business assessment if you are concerned about attracting new potential customers to your business, and looking for a better way to present your product and or service so that you can convert more of these prospects into paying customers.

Your life only gets better when you get better. Fortunately there are no limits to how much better you can become, so there are no limits on how much better you can make your life.

You can learn anything you need to learn to accomplish any goal that you can set for yourself. All business skills are learnable.

There are no limits to what you can accomplish except for the limits you place on yourself with your own thinking.

Establishing a Web Presence with Business Blogging

Blogging began in 1997 and developed from the term “weblogs”. Weblogs comprise short, detailed pages containing updated posts arranged in chronological order. In 1999 developers capitalized on the blogging movement and created software and tools to generate personal and business blogs. As a result, over one hundred million blogs exist on the internet today and the number continues to multiply rapidly.

With the rising popularity of blogging, how can your business utilize this platform to its greatest potential? Your business blog should focus on communication with your customers and the distribution of knowledge and expertise in your company’s field. Curious customers should find the answers to their biggest questions on your blog. As a result, they will remain subscribers and may eventually convert into buying customers. Link to great resources, add promotions and daily contests and write your thoughts on all topics relating to your business. Find the problems or issues plaguing consumers, answer their questions and you will always enjoy success.

Not only can blogging connect you with potential customers, but it can also help to increase traffic to your main business website. You can strategically post about your products and services throughout your writing with links back to your main website as long as the content follows the mantra of “continually adding value”. Remember to keep it light and fun at times. Give your readers a chance to see who you are and enjoy their time on your blog.

Some small businesses do not possess the capital to create an extensive website. Blogging represents a low cost, quick and easy option to create a web presence. Bloggers do not need to rely on expensive programmers to make simple changes. The updating of posts, plugins, themes and comments can be performed by the novice internet user. Blogging software is available through many platforms. Blogger, WordPress, Typepad and others offer easy to use templates and management systems. Most also offer free support forums if you have any questions or issues concerning the software.

A business blog should display the lighter side of your business so potential customers can relate to you on a personal level. By developing a rapport with your readers, the success of your blog will grow over time and will boost your company’s web presence dramatically.
